Pragmatic Play in the lobby: what can be checked (and no interview)

This page carried an interview that never took place: a conversation with «a top developer» at Pragmatic Play, complete with questions, answers and a table of 2026 releases. Nobody here spoke to that studio and we had no source for those statements. The whole piece has therefore been removed and replaced with what can actually be established about Pragmatic Play — and with the way you check it yourself, for any studio.

What is publicly known about the studio

Pragmatic Play is one of the largest suppliers of online slots and live casino. In the Betamina lobby the studio appears in the provider filter, and twice: once for slots and once for the live tables (listed there as Pragmatic Play Live). On our check of 22 October 2026 that filter named sixty studios in total. What there is to report about Pragmatic releases, prize pools and tournaments is published by the studio itself and repeated by the casino in its tournament schedule — the Drops & Wins and Spin & Win tournaments in the lobby are the example of that.

The three numbers that describe a game

Where an invented interview gives you a mood, three numbers from the game’s information panel give you something usable. RTP is the theoretical return across a very long run; volatility says how that return is distributed (high = long dry spells, bigger spikes); maximum win is the ceiling, expressed as a multiple of your stake. All three are in the game itself, not in a news item.

One thing there matters more than which studio built the game: the same title ships in several RTP versions. A slot that returns 96.5% at one operator can sit at 94% at another — same name, same artwork, different mathematics. What the Betamina lobby says about this

There is one place where the casino itself works with RTP figures: the separate «98% RTP» group in the lobby. That is a filter, not a promise about any individual game — check in the information panel of the title you open whether the figure really is there. And watch the «Bonus Games» group: only slots from that group count towards clearing a bonus, however high another game’s RTP may be.

Why we do not invent interviews

A fabricated quote from a named studio is not only wrong towards the reader, it also hangs a statement around the neck of a company that never made it. So we would rather write down what is in the register, in the terms and in a game’s information panel, with the date of the check beside it.
